The company has developed an innovative technology to control microbe damage to concrete products.
A concrete construction method employing an antimicrobial additive Zeomighty, which has solved the very cumbersome sulfuric acid corrosion problem of sewer-use concrete products, obtained a "Certificate of examination as sewer technology" from Japan Institute of Wastewater Engineering Technology on March 9, 2000.
The Japan Institute of Wastewater Engineering Technology engages itself in the development and commercialization of new technology, joint research activities with private businesses and the evaluation of new technology to ensure the smooth implementation of sewer development projects by local autonomous bodies. Sinanen, MITSUI MINING COMPANY , LIMITED and KUMAGAI GUMI CO.,LTD. worked in concert to obtain a certificate, and were awarded it jointly.
Sinanen has organized the Antimicrobial Concrete Study Group (79 members from secondary concrete product makers are participating in it) in a bid to promote and establish Zeomighty-added concrete products and application technology. The acquisition of a "Certificate of examination as sewer technology" by us also provides great advantages to secondary concrete product makers, which push their products to autonomous bodies' sewage development projects.
We aim to promote antimicrobial concrete construction techniques further in cooperation with concrete product makers, targeting local autonomous bodies mainly.
