Terminology: ISO /IEC17025
ISO /IEC17025 (International organization for Standardization /International Electro technical Commission Standard 17025)
ISO /IEC17025:1999 (JIS Q 17025:2000) is the standard, which regulates general requirements needed, to be certified as such. This is defined as a concrete guideline of the “International Conformity Assessment”, which is one of multilateral agreement on international trade. In Japan, this is operated under the JNLA system.
The Test Laboratories Authorization System for evaluating antimicrobial efficacy of treated articles is also under the JNLA system.
