Japanese Industrial Standard JIS Z 2801 / International Organization for Standardization ISO 22196
The JIS Z 2801 is the Japan Industrial Standard established on December 20, 2000 as “Antibacterial products – Test for antibacterial activity and efficacy”.
Afterwards the JIS Z 2801 proposed to the International Organization for Standardization Commission to be adopted in the year 2007 as the ISO 22196 (Plastics -- Measurement of antibacterial activity on plastics surfaces).
